CURRICULUM VITAE
I have worked in marketing communications for more than 20 years, been a nonprofit manager for over a decade, and spent 15 years in magazine publishing, as both an editor and manager. My skills include writing, editing, research, graphic design, web design, project management, grant writing, and fundraising. As a lifelong volunteer, I have served on multiple nonprofit boards and mentored hundreds of students, planted acres of trees, and secured homes for dozens of deserving dogs.

Other Interests
I have worked at flower shops at various times since high school and regularly make floral arrangements for my own home, friends, and good causes, mostly using materials from my husband's garden, as seen below.
I play keyboards, bass guitar, steel pan, and various percussion instruments and have performed with many bands. I enjoy band management and promotion as well, such as my current projects, Surfhenge and Sounds like Chicken.
I have traveled to more than 40 states and 50 countries and particularly enjoy wildlife conservation travel.
I speak conversational French and Japanese.
